Unmanaged Agricultural Waste

The production, harvest, sorting, and packing of fruits and vegetables generate billions of kilos of agricultural waste annually. Vegetative waste can have significant negative consequences when left unmanaged and unattended, including environmental pollution, contamination of water bodies, and degradation of soil and air quality. It also creates a favorable habitat for pests, insects, and disease-causing organisms, posing risks to crops, plants, and ecosystem health. Moreover, accumulated dry or dead plant material from unmanaged waste increases the risk of wildfires, which can cause extensive damage to the environment and properties.

The Solution

Fruits, leaves and vegetable bearing plant stems are renowned for their abundance of nutrients. Using our novel approach, we extract the stem sap from these plants, which serves as a key ingredient in our product. This stem sap contains a rich array of micro and macro nutrients, plant growth hormones, phytochemicals, and beneficial bacteria. These extracts offer a potent blend of natural compounds that can enhance plant growth, productivity, and overall crop health.

Our commitment extends beyond the extraction process. We aim to repurpose a substantial amount of agricultural plant waste, approximately 3000 tonnes per year, as part of our sustainable practices. As we expand our operations, our goal is to significantly increase the volume of plant waste repurposed, making a substantial contribution to reducing agricultural waste and promoting a more circular and environmentally conscious approach.
